European markets choppy but little changed after Asian nerves show

The pan-European STOXX 600 was flat by 0936 GMT, with most country indices also fluctuating around neutral.

Elections in the medium term on Wednesday in the United States also kept traders cautious, as well as uncertainty about whether there were inappropriate hopes for a breakthrough in the Brexit talks.
The results of European banking banking stress tests had little impact, while the .SX7P sector declined by 0.3 percent.

"The results do not give any surprises, and we expect a slight market reaction,” writes analyst Jefferies.

The British Barclays (BARC.L) and France Societe Generale (SOGN.PA) were among the unexpected resignations in the performance test, but their shares were even for about an hour in trading.

The Italian banking index .FTIT8300 lost 1.7 percent, however, after Goldman Sachs lowered BPER and Intesa Sanpaolo to "sale”. Their shares decreased by 3.3 percent and 1.9 percent respectively.

Lloyd, a London underwriter, Hiscox posted the worst performance, down 7.4 percent after warning that growth could decline during the remainder of the year.

Telenet (TNET.BR) lost 4.3 percent after downgrading from Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Among the positive trade updates was the Dutch oil and gas storage Vopak (VOPA.AS), up 5 percent, and Siemens Healthiners, which grew 3 percent after forecasting higher revenues next year.
The French payment group Ingenico  , Which attracted interest to the banking company Natixis (CNAT.PA), jumped 3.6 percent after it called the new CEO on Monday, hoping that the new board could make a deal .

British Micro Focus (MCRO.L) grew by 3.3 percent after it stated that it expects full-year revenue to grow toward a higher level of weak forecast and announced the departure of its financial director ITV in less than 12 months.
